Coquette Point Scenic Drive
Enjoy breathtaking scenery looking down over the Innisfail region and Coral Sea. Known area for Cassowary sightings.

Josephine Falls & The Golden Hole
A short walk through the rainforest to a beautiful sight. At the base of Queenslands tallest mountain, Mt Bartle Frere.

The Boulders
A series of waterfalls over huge Boulders with short bushwalks.

Eubenangee Swamp
Natural Wetlands with hundreds of resident and migratory bird species. Travel on to Bramston Beach, another tropical paradise or head south and visit the historic Garradunga Hotel.

Murdering Point Winery
Exotic Tropical Winery producing award winning wines from Australia's finest native and exotic fruits.

Walk into Town
Enjoy a leisurely walk along the South Johnstone River into the Town Centre. Approx. 2.5km. Spot the tropical fruit trees amongst the tree lined river banks

Sugar Industry
Visit the Sugar Museum at Mourilyan then drive to Mourilyan Harbour and view the sugar loading terminal. Great spot to cast a line and catch a seafood dinner. In season visit the Tully Sugar Mill.

Etty Bay
A secluded beach with netted swimming area. Rainforest meets the sea in a beautiful setting. Cassowary sightings are common in this area.

Mission Beach
45 minute drive south of Innisfail.

Gateway to Cairns and Tablelands
Innisfail is approximately 100 km from Cairns and most attractions in the Southern Tablelands. Make this your base and explore the many delights of tropical North Queensland. Undara Lava Tubes are an easy 3 hour drive.

Mount Bartle Frere
Queenslands highest mountain at 1662 metres For fit and experienced bushwalkers, climb to the summit.

Misty Mountains and Wooroonooran National Park
Bushwalking, waterfalls and rainforest. These are part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage area

Frankland Island Cruise and Dive
Cruise to the Frankland Island and view the Coral. Explore the reef in a semi submersible or Glass Bottom Boat tour.

Feast of Senses
from 28 March, 2019 to 31 March, 2019
Taste fresh local produce and entertainment. Join the food trail either North or South of Innisfail to visit places not normally open to the public. Many events have been organised throughout this Festival Program and further details can be viewed on the website. Experience the street 'buzz' during the Australian Bananas Market Day Extravaganza in Edith Street on the final day. There is plenty of family fun, a myriad of activities, variety of stalls with local produce. Visit Innisfail in April. Witness the Banana Olympics and Banana Man on Saturday 24th March 2018

2019 World Rafting Championships
from 13 May, 2019 to 21 May, 2019
Over 400 of the world’s best rafters will travel to the Cassowary Coast for a chance to become the ‘ best of the best’. Held over 8 days from 13- 20 May 2019, teams from 30 countries will compete through a combination of disciplines that include sprints, head to head, slalom and downriver. The event will be held on the world-renowned Tully River, on a section of iconic Grade IV water spilling through the world heritage rainforest of Tropical North Queensland.

Art Deco Weekend
