Kuranda Scenic Railway
Travel on the train to Kuranda, taking in some of the wonderful views over Cairns. There are 13 tunnels to go through. Combined with Skyrail, either self-drive or we can organise a pickup from the resort.
Big Cat Green Island Reef Cruises
Spend a whole day and half a day on the lovely Green Island - view the coral and fish from a glass bottom boat, from inside a semi-sub and maybe have a go at snorkelling.
Reef Magic Cruises
Reef Magic leaves Cairns daily at 9am and is great for the whole family. Spend 5 exciting hours at the reef snorkeling, diving or maybe just relaxing.
Sugarworld Water Slides
Open every weekend and all Queensland school holidays except Christmas and Boxing day. Four giant water slides for adults and children, wading pool for toddlers plus a fun pool. Operating Hours: 10am till 4.30pm. Nestled against the backdrop of the Isley Hills, approximately 10 km south of Cairns, Sugarworld is suitable for the whole family. Plenty of free BBQs and magnificent shady trees.
Stockland Shopping Centre
Stockland Shopping Centre is only three kms from Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort and you can catch our Courtesy Bus daily. Lots of variety shops, a food court, movies, chemists, newsagencies, Woolworths and many many more.
Cairns Central Shopping Centre
The Cairns Coconut Holiday Park Courtesy Bus goes here daily! Visit the two storey shopping centre with plenty of shops and lots of parking if you're driving yourself. Enjoy the latest movies, treat yourself to lunch, go shopping for necessities and the centre has entertainment for the kids in the holidays.
FNQ Airport Shuttle
Take advantage of Cairns' most efficient and cost effective shuttle service. Shuttle services to and from the airport. This service is best booked online a couple of days in advance.
At Rusty's Markets you will find all the locals buying their fruit and vegetables. Open Friday and Saturday 5am to 6pm and Saturday until 3pm. Located in the CBD between Grafton and Sheridan Streets beside Gilligan's.
The Cairns Esplanade Markets run every Saturday between 8am and 4pm next to the Cairns Lagoon. Stroll through the stalls including locally made jewellery, leather work, pottery, airbrush tattoos, clothes, skincare and much, much more.
Cairns Night Markets
The Cairns night markets are open daily from 4.30pm until 11pm. You can enter from either the Esplanade or Abbott Street
Markets are held the fourth Saturday of every month from 7.30am until 12.30pm in the main street
Port Douglas Markets
Village Markets are held every Sunday, 8.30am-1.30pm, Anzac Park, across from the Courthouse Hotel.
