The Mighty Murray River
Tocumwal is nestled on the banks of the Murray River, which is only a short stroll from the park. The main boat ramp is located on the pleasant Foreshore Reserve, which has barbecue and picnic facilities and a playground - a great spot to gather with family and friends. With 23 sandy beaches, and a myriad of tracks and trails to explore along the river banks, there is ample opportunity to drop a line or have a refreshing swim. There is canoe and bike hire available on the Foreshore (seasonal).

Take to the Skies!!
Tocumwal Historic Aerodrome was home to B24 Liberator bombers during the Second World War, and has a rich and enthralling history. Some wartime hangars still remain. The Tocumwal Visitor Information Centre houses the Tocumwal Historic Aerodrome Museum which displays a fascinating collection of memorabilia and information. Today, the Tocumwal Aerodrome is home to gliders and scenic flights, as well as the Australian Sport Aviation School, which offers Trial Instructional Flights www.australiansportaviation.com.au.
