Cycling & Walking Trails
Home to the world’s largest paddle steamer fleet, Echuca – Moama boasts some of Victoria’s best off road cycling along Murray River bush tracks and through a maze of state forest roads. Head down to Five Mile Picnic Area where you will find mountain bike trails in the Riverina region, located in the Murray Valley Regional Park.

Historic Port of Echuca
Explore the historic Port of Echuca – Walk along the red gum wharf built in 1865, see the cargo shed museum, visit the Star Hotel with its underground bar and escape tunnel (once a 'sly' grog shop), inspect one of the many steam engine displays and observe shipwrights restoring vessels.

Paddle steamers
Take a paddle steamer cruise – the world’s biggest fleet of operating paddle steamers is based at Echuca-Moama and each has its own history and character. Learn about pioneering days from the captains commentary and enjoy refreshments as you cruise in all-weather comfort

Morrison's Winery & Restaurant
Although relatively new, Echuca-Moama’s wine region is gaining a reputation as one of the best winegrowing districts in the country.

Chanter Estate Winery & Military Museum
Enjoy the ambience of this 100 year old church building which has been painstakingly relocated in the heart of Moama and houses the boutique cellar door. This is a major tourist complex, incorporating a vineyard, tasting room And a selection of wines, Semillon, Chardonnay, Taminga, Shiraz, Mataro, Grenache all for sale. Experience a bygone era with the Historic Commercial & Military vehicle display. Horse drawn equipment, amphibious military, vintage Vehicles including vintage & classic motor cycles. Over 40 exhibits from 1900 to 1940's.

Barmah State Forest
Barmah Forest, on the Murray River east of Echuca, is part of the world’s largest River Red Gum forest. Bushwalking and Cycling Tracks are located throughout the forest.

National Holden Motor Museum
The largest one make motor museum in Australia with over 40 restored Holden's, rare prototypes, historical film footage and a unique range of souvenirs.

The Great Aussie Beer Shed
The Great Aussie Beer Shed is the first Beer Can, Brewery Related and Australiana Museum. In fact it is the only museum of its kind in Australia. A unique Tourist attraction featuring over 16,000 beer cans from Australia and around the world, and other brewery related items including beer tap tops and tap handles, trays, old wooden beer barrels, bottles, signs both old and modern, brewery manufacturing equipment and machinery and plenty more.

Echuca Cup
from 28 May, 2017 to 28 May, 2017
Situated on the banks of the beautiful Murray River, bordering the nearby township of Moama - The Echuca Racing Club is a family-friendly club, that will host 14 meetings throughout 2016/2017 season, including the main events, Moama Bowling Club Melbourne Cup Day and the Moama Bowling Club Echuca Cup which takes place on 28 May in 2017.

Echuca Steam Rally
from 11 June, 2017 to 11 June, 2017
A magnificent display of steam traction engines and wagons, portable steam engines, early farm machinery, vintage and classic cars and motorcycles; plus a variety of traditional family entertainment. Held at Rotary Park, Echuca from 9am to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday of the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend.

Echuca/Moama Blues Festival
from 27 July, 2017 to 30 July, 2017
Echuca-Moama has established itself as the place to be for heart-starting blues and roots music and the perfect antidote for a bad case of the winter blues with its annual Winter Blues Festival. The Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival, will be held from July 27th – 30th 2017. The country’s best Blues Musicians will fill the historic Port of Echuca’s heritage precinct and surrounding venues. More than 40 blues and roots performers from across the country will play to crowds approaching 20,000. Come and join in the fun but book your accommodation early as this weekend is a sellout!

Southern 80
from 09 February, 2018 to 11 February, 2018
The Race takes place on the Murray River between Torrumbarry and Echuca on the second Sunday in February each year. The race attracts over 400 entries from all over Australia with international representation from New Zealand, Great Britain and the USA
