Eden Killer Whale Museum
The Eden Killer Whale Museum has a diverse range of permanent exhibitions such as 'Old Tom' and the Replica Lighthouse. It also regularly hosts travelling and special inhouse exhibitions.
Merimbula Divers Lodge

Cat Balou Cruises
These cruises operate all year and are also ideal for coach groups. Relax as Cat Balou cruises Twofold Bay which covers an area of 30 square kilometres. Surrounded by the Ben Boyd National Park, stunning scenery and pristine bays and beaches are viewed as Cat Balou cruises around this deep water port. The cruise highlights the history of this whaling port including Boyd's Tower, Seahorse Inn at Boydtown, Edrom Lodge and whaling station sites. On most trips Cat Balou encounters dolphins or seals.
Merimbula's Jazz Festival

The Merimbula Jazz Festival has been held every June long weekend since 1981 involving approximately 150 bands, 700 musicians playing all styles of jazz from trad, ragtime, big bands, swing, mainstream, modern and funk. The Festival events are conducted in seven venues - within one modern hotel and three modern clubs. All venues are wheel chair accessible and provide food and drinks within the dining rooms or small snacks also available.
Eden Whale Festival

The 2012 Eden Whale Festival will be bigger and better than ever. Come and join in the fun at Snug Cove in Eden over the weekend of 3th and 4th of November 2012. There’ll be presentations by whale researchers, kids games and competitions and much more.
Sapphire Coast Orchid Club Australian Native Orchid and Bonsai Show

The South Coast Orchid Club presents a specialist orchid show for Australian Native Sarcanthinae Orchids although other orchids in flower at the time will be on show. Sarcanthinae are principally Australian native orchids from the rainforests and rocky ravines. Whilst their flowers are small they are very prolific, ranging in colour from crystalline white through pinks to deep reds. This will be a spectacular show of these seldom seen orchids with typically 150 plants on show.

For the past 30 years the Jazz Festival has brought the South Coast town of Merimbula to life over the June holiday weekend. The Sapphire Coast Turf Club Race day falls on the Sunday of the Festival so whether it's the sound of hooves pounding the turf you like or smooth jazzy grooves you can't go wrong, so be trackside this June.
