Booking Terms & Conditions
Check-in time is from 12pm for sites and 3pm for accommodation.
Check-out time is 10am. Late check-outs can be arranged at an extra charge where available.
Reception hours are Sunday-Thursday from 7am-7pm or Friday-Saturday from 7am-8pm. Guests arriving outside these times must contact park reception during reception hours to make alternate arrangements. Guests who fail to arrive on the designated day and have not made alternate arrangements will forfeit the cost of the first night. Special requests are on request basis only and are not guaranteed at the time of booking. Please contact the park for confirmation.
Deposit & Payments
Deposits and Payments - A credit card deposit of the 1st night is required at the time of booking, with the balance due 21 days prior to arrival. The park will process the deposit against your credit card and send confirmation to the email address supplied. Sale Rates - Full prepayment required at the time of booking.
Changes & Cancellations
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation the following applies to all deposits paid: 22+ days prior to arrival: Any payments made can be refunded less a $30 administration fee OR your full deposit will be held for any future booking, to be used within 12 months. 21-8 days of arrival: Your full deposit will be held for any future booking, to be used within 12 months. 1-7 days of arrival: We are unable to offer a refund. Sale Rates Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/discounts; No refunds or credit available on sale rates when cancelled/shortened or inclusion forfeited.
If your visitors wish to enter or use the park facilities for the day they must first be registered at reception. All registered Day Visitors will be issued with a wrist band which must be worn while in the park. This identification wrist band provides access to our wide range of facilities including “Sammy’s” and “Neptune’s Castle”. The cost for our Day Visitors is only $10 per person, including spectators who choose to enter the water park.
With the exception of medically certified guide dogs, dogs are not permitted.
You need to know
A minimum stay of seven nights applies during high season and at Easter, a minimum of three nights on long weekends, and a minimum of two nights on other weekends.
Adult’s rates apply to persons above 15 years old. Children rates apply to guests aged three-15 years old. There is no charge under three years old.
No Smoking policy: We are committed to providing our guests with a family friendly, smoke-free environment, and from the 1st of February 2016 North Star tourist area will become a non-smoking. This includes any Accommodation, Sites or anywhere within the front tourist area of the Resort. If you, or any of your guests smoke, you will need to use the designated smoking area or leave the resort grounds in order to do so.
We reserve the right to refuse a booking at any time from any person reasonably believed to:
- Not be the person named on the booking request.
- Not be the person named on the credit card or not be authorised to use the card.
- Not be able to pay for any charges.
- May cause damage to the property of the park or other guests.
- May exhibit socially unacceptable behavior.
- Be younger than 18 years old and not accompanied by a responsible person over that age.
- Be concealing a dog or other unauthorised animal.
By entering our park, you and your child/ren consent to being photographed from time to time using the facilities for the purposes of being included in promotional material of the BIG4 North Star Holiday Resort.
We reserve the right to eject guests from the park who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way; causing damage; disturbing other guests; using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking Park Rules. No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damage caused.
BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd is not the owner of any particular BIG4 Holiday Park. BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
