Summerland House Farm
A working macadamia and avocado property nestled in the hills of the Altsonville Plateau. "The Grocer" stocks the biggest range of award winning local food products. The Tractor Farm Tour is an educational experience that gives visitors and groups an opportunity to explore the macadamia and avocado orchards on the farm. Open 7 days - Farm tours between 10am & 2pm There is mini golf and a water park for the kids.
Northern Rivers Seafood
Experience a true fish shop! The staff tend to customers every need with a huge variety of all seafood and a never ending supply of cooked and green prawns as well as whole fish and fish fillets. Feel free to checkout their extensive range and see what's caught locally off the Ballina Coast. Open 7 days 6.00am - 6.30pm The local trawler fleet is a short drive away, so you can show the kids the equipment used for the catch, and you must stop for a photo at the Big Prawn!
The Macadamia Castle has over 200 locally grown and made products on sale. Enjoy a wide range of local coffees, mueslis, jams relishes and Oils. Taste a wide range of Macadamia nuts roasted and flavoured. The Castle has a cafe,serving locally grown coffee and breakfast and lunch. You may also incorporate a day out in the animal park, that has a petting nursery, mini-golf, playgrounds, an adventure tree house and a train ride. Open 8am - 5pm
Local Farmers' Market
You'll want to check out the local farmers' markets. There you will find a glorious selection of local produce, with organic fruit and veggies, cheeses, olives, nuts and condiments. Perfect opportunity to stock up on supplies for a picnic whilst on your tour or for a BBQ back at the park later.
Harvest Cafe' and Bakery
Harvest Cafe' at Newrybar is home to Australia's oldest bakery that incorporates an award-winning eatery. Harvest Cafe combines stunning contemporary cuisine with a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. History, passion for food and sustainable living are all part of the Harvest experience. Don't miss the Sourdough Weekends with a mouth-watering spread of pastries fresh from of the historic, wood fired oven. Enjoy scrumptious goodies such as salted caramel doughnuts, baguettes and all kinds of other treats.
Madura Tea Estate

Tropical Fruit World is open daily from 10am and your park ticket includes a fruit tasting session and plantation tour activities which include a tractor tour, a Wildlife boat cruise and a minature train ride. It's a journey through orchards where more than 500 of the world’s weird and wonderful fruit varieties are grown. Learn why this unique location, nestled on the edge of the volcanic caldera of Wollumbin, is so special. You’ll see, touch and taste fruits from all around the world, all growing right here on our beautiful Tweed farm.
Road Side Stalls
The Far North Coast is a fabulous place to simply drive through the hinterland and look for the amazing Road Side Stalls for the freshest herbs, fruit and vegetables possible. Take with you lots of gold coins and your green bags to make the most of this experience. Enjoy amazing views of the rolling greens of the hinterland and find plenty of hidden secrets.
