Full payment required for online bookings. Direct bookings require a one-night deposit and balance on arrival. During peak season, a 50% deposit will be required


What you need to know

COVID-19 Flexi Booking Policy: Withstanding rights under consumer law, guests will have the option to select a new date for their existing booking or accept a credit valid for up to 12 months should any of the below criteria impact their planned stay: • You or an immediate family member becomes sick with COVID–19 • You are forced into self-isolation • You are awaiting the results of a COVID–19 test or • A State Government or Commonwealth Government directive is issued and means you are no longer able to travel to or from your destination. Any difference in booking value will need to be paid direct to the park as per their usual booking terms and conditions. To request either a change to booking dates or to receive a credit for a future booking in relation to the COVID-19 Flexible Cancellation Policy the customer will need to contact the park directly. To utilise this policy a guest must: • Have made their booking on BIG4.com.au, and • Where requested, provide proof to the park where the booking is held of COVID-19 impact as listed above. Any cancellation which is deemed not applicable to the Flexible Cancelation Policy will need to comply with parks usual terms and conditions: Cancellation and Alterations: For low season if cancellation is made within 7 days of arrival, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer/alteration of booking. If cancellation is made between 8-14 days of arrival, your full deposit will be held for a future holiday with us within 12 months of the date of the booking. If cancellation is made more than 14 days, a full refund less a $30 administration fee will apply with notice in writing. Booking cancellations and alterations in Peak Season & Easter must be made more than 28 days prior to your booking. For Conditions of Entry - COVID19 - Please refer to our Health & Safety -COVID-19 page CANCELLATION AND ALTERATIONS POLICIES COVID Flexi Cancellation Policy: If your travel plans are impacted by COVID-19/Coronavirus with the following criteria: The guest or an immediate family member test positive to COVID-19 The guest is forced into self-isolation The guest is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test A state or government directive is issued, affecting the guest's ability to travel to or from their destination Then our COVID Flexi Cancellation Policy applies: Guests may cancel their reservation up to 72 hours prior to their arrival date.  The reservation can be transferred, subject to availability, or your full deposit will be held as a credit for any future holiday with us within 12 months of the date of the booking. Any deposits held in credit due to cancellation must be used within 12 months of the original booking or then forfeited.  The credit is not eligible for refund at a later date and is not transferable to other BIG4 parks. Guests will be required to provide proof in the form of a guest declaration in writing.  Park management reserves the right to request for evidence based on a medical certificate or directive or other required information.  If cancellation is not deemed COVID related or does not meet above criteria, then our standard Cancellation Policy applies as per season. LOW & SHOULDER SEASON CANCELLATION POLICY In the event of Cancellation for Low & Shoulder season bookings the following applies to all deposits paid: If cancellation is made within 7 days of arrival, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer/alteration of booking. If cancellation is made between 8-14 days of arrival, the reservation can be transferred, subject to availability, or your full deposit will be held as a credit for any future holiday with us within 12 months of the date of the booking.  If cancellation is made more than 14 days,your deposit less a $30 administration fee per site or cabin booked, or your full deposit will be held for a future holiday with us within 12 months of the date of the booking. Notice of cancellation must be received in writing from the person who made the booking in the first place.  We will accept emai, or a letter from the person who made the booking, prior to a refund being issued. Any deposits held in credit due to cancellation must be used within 12 months of the original booking or then forfeited.  The credit is not eligible for refund at a later date and is not transferable to other BIG4 parks.  Booking cancellations and alterations in Peak Season & Easter must be made more than 28 days prior to your booking. PEAK & EASTER SEASON CANCELLATION POLICY In the event of Cancellation for Peak & Easter season bookings the following applies to all deposits paid: Booking cancellations or alterations in Peak Season & Easter Season must be made more than 28 days prior to your booking If the cancellation is made more than 28 days prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded less a $30.00 administration fee per site or cabin booked, or your full deposit will be held for a future holiday with us within 12 months of the date of the booking. If less than 28 days notice is given for a cancellation or alteration, no refunds or credit will be given. Notice of cancellation must be received in writing from the person who made the booking in the first place.  We will acept email, or a letter from teh person who made the booking, prior to a refund being issued. Any deposits held in credit due to cancellation must be used within 12 months of the original booking or then forfeited.  The credit is not eligible for refund at a later date and is not transferable to other BIG4 parks. ALTERATIONS POLICY In the event that you wish to make alterations to the date of your booking the following applies for Low and Shoulder Season bookings only: At least 7 days' notice must be given for date alterations to reservations. Alterations to bookings are subject to availability Alternative dates must be within 12 months of original booking and the applicable rate and season conditions will apply Booking date alterations can be made once without incurring an administration fee Subsequent alterations to same booking will incur a $30.00 administration fee per change. Tariffs and deposits are not refundable for early departures or cancellations once arrived. Booked accommodation or sites will only be held for 24 hours from commencement date unless otherwise arranged. No refunds will be given for no-show bookings. We recommend you seek independent travel insurance if you are concerned external factors may impede your stay. No person or organisation may undertake any promotional, commercial or marketing activities in the park without th express written permission of the Park Operator. All guests must be over 18 years old unless with a parent or responsible guardian. I.D. may be required upon arrival. To use this site: You must be 18 years or older; you must have legal authority to enter an agreement, and you agree to be at all times bound by the Terms and Conditions and Cancellation policies here in; you warrant that all information you supply is true and correct. Your booking is a contract that BIG4 Ballina Headlands Holiday Park will honour. By entering into this contract you are agreeing to abide by our Park Rules. Any breach of rules, booking terms and conditions, will result in termination of contract and forfeit of fees. Please note, that BIG4 Ballina Headlands Holiday Park is closed on Christmas Day. Arrivals and departures cannot be scheduled for this day. Australian Standards relate to the use of bunk beds and state that: "Children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to use top bunks. Also children must not play on the top bunk." Please take this into consideration when booking online. Large group bookings cannot be made online. Group bookings are at Manager's discretion, please call 1800 181 208. Please note: BIG4 Ballina Headlands Holiday Park is an independent member of BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd, owners of BIG4 trademark. In-Park Perks are subject to availability and may change from time to time, any changes will be made on the BIG4 website at Managers discretion, and will be valid from that time.  In-Park Perks will be offered upon arrival to Perks+ and VIPerks members only. Members must choose their one In-Park Perk upon arrival, and the In-Park Perk will be valid for the initial period booked.  Extensions to bookings made after arrival will not entitle the Member to another Perk.  Guests who join BIG4 whilst staying will be entitled to choose one In-Park Perk, valid for the rest of their stay.  Any In-Park Perks offered at BIG4 Ballina Headlands Holiday Park are not valid at any other BIG4 Holiday Park. Once a Perk has been chosen, the perk cannot be exchanged or transferred.  Some perks will have special conditions, such as age conditions, or time availability/access.  i.e/ Pedal Karts require an indemnity and waiver form to be signed by responsible adult.  These special conditions will be available for viewing at time of choosing In-Park Perk upon arrival. BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd is not the owner of any particular BIG4 Holiday Park. BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
