Taronga Western Plains Zoo
Western Plains Zoo is a wild and wonderful slice of Africa located in Dubbo, right in the heart of New South Wales. With over 300 hectares of bushland, Western Plains Zoo is more than just a zoo experience, it's an African safari. Like Africa you will see big game roaming across wide open spaces, however, unlike Africa, Dubbo is only hours away. So when planning your safari, remember that all tickets to Western Plains Zoo are valid for two (2) consecutive days.
Western Plains Cultural Centre
Dubbo's new state-of -the-art Cultural Centre houses both the city's art gallery and museum. Free admission. Exhibitions include travelling displays and permanent collections, and "The Outlook Cafe". Open daily 10-4pm (Closed Tuesday)
Old Dubbo Gaol
Animatronic inmates. Authentic displays and artefacts. Gain an insight into a 1800's penal institution during a self guided day tour. Lots of fun for all the family. Open 7 days.
