There must be something in the water in Cow Town. Whatever it is, it causes fun and frivolity, creative art and quirky customisation. Fun that to some may see udderly ridiculous, but just fits in at Cowaramup.
Cow Town has always had quirky references to its cows in the names of shops and in window displays. The locals picked up the theme a bit more in 2012 when 42 life sized cows came to town and were decorated by the local community. These cows and calves now fill the streets of Cowaramup - in parks, outside shops and on street corners.
The crazy locals were at it again in 2014 when 1,352 of them gathered to break the world record for the most people in the one place dressed as cows.
So when you are in Margaret River, don't forget to visit Cow Town - it's an udderly unique experience.
