Glow in the park: After dark activities for kids

When you’re on holidays with kids, don’t let a lack of light finish your night. Instead, keep children entertained well up to their bedtime with these simple yet engrossing after-dark games.

All you need are a few glow sticks, which can be bought for just a few dollars at most discount stores or $2 shops. Then simply find a bit of free space, and let the games begin.

And once the final siren sounds, the glow sticks can enjoy a second life as nightlights to be placed besides the kids’ beds.

We have a few fun night-time games to get you started. You’ll likely recognise these long-time favourites, which have been adapted to after-dark conditions.

It’s time to go with the glow…
