Cape Otway Lightstation
Cape Otway Lightstation is the oldest, surviving lighthouse on mainland Australia. The light, built in 1848, is perched on towering sea cliffs 90 metres above where Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean collide.
Rich in history with plenty for all ages to explore. Climb to the top of the Lighthouse, roam the Telegraph Station (1859), visit the Indigenous Cultural Centre and learn of traditional ways and bush tucker.
Cape Otway Lightstation provides tours and has a cafe.
