Farm among the Vineyards

The happy bull sipping on a glass of Margaret River wine is symbolic of BIG4 Taunton Farm Holiday Park. We are a farm amidst a rich array of vineyards. It’s a place to relax under a peppermint tree with a glass of wine or a cold beer, whilst the kids feed the farm animals and the sausages sizzle on the barbecue.

BIG4 Taunton Farm Holiday Park was founded by Rob and Julie Saunders adjacent to their family farm in 1992. They wanted to create a relaxed country holiday park in the developing Margaret River wine region.

The first commercial vineyard was planted in the Margaret River region in 1967. Today there are more than 95 cellar doors in the region. Many are located within just a few kilometres of BIG4 Taunton Farm Holiday Park. One, 3 Oceans Winery, is located next door and a short stroll across the paddock.

The area produces rich reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, as well as white Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon wines. Many wineries offer guests a visitor experience with wine tastings, restaurants and tours on offer. For those who prefer not to drive, there are also a range of large and small wine tours.

And then, amongst the vineyards, is the relaxed country atmosphere of BIG4 Taunton Farm Holiday Park, providing a haven for visitors and farm animals alike.

At the end of each day, as the sun turns the paddocks a golden colour, guests gather on the large grassed areas of BIG4 Taunton Farm Holiday Park around the farm shed and camp kitchen. Some sip on a local wine, others tend the barbecue.

Nearby the animals of BIG4 Taunton Farm Holiday Park; goats, cattle, sheep and pigs, gather for their afternoon feed. Guests are invited to help with the animal feeding and to take advantage of great photo opportunities.

For a unique country experience amongst the vineyards, we invite you to visit us at BIG4 Taunton Farm Holiday Park.
