Estimating your equipment size
We are looking for an estimate of the size of your Caravan, Motorhome, Camper Trailer, Tent etc. once it has been set up or fully extended (outside to outside)... excluding your vehicle.

Please include your tow/draw bar in the estimate.
Widths are generally around 4 – 5 metres (13.12 – 16.4 feet).
Note: Include annexes of pullouts in width.

Please be advised that Site sizes vary from park to park and within each park. Sites will be allocated based on the measurements provided during the booking process and it is the responsibility of the guest to ensure estimates are as close to accurate as possible.

Newly refurbished amenities block with individual unisex private bathrooms, baby bath/change area, and heated floors.
You need to knowTARIFF - tariff quoted covers the number of people stated on your booking. Should this change then your tariff may change also. Please note: Infants: under 2yrs Child: 2-15yrs inclusive Adults: 16yrs & over. CHECK IN TIME: accommodation is available from 3pm, powered caravan/tent sites from 11am. En-Suite sites are available from 11am but ensuite may not be ready until 3pm. Should you be arriving after 5/6pm please let us know so we can make special arrangements for you. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ARRIVALS AFTER 9pm. CHECK OUT TIME: is before 10am for all accommodation & sites. NOISE CURFEW: is strictly 10pm. This is for the comfort of all our guests. VISITORS: In fairness to our paying guests we have a visitor policy in place. We understand visitors can be a significant part of a holiday, and guests are more than welcome to have visitors to the Park, however, we ask that they please abide by the following: any visitors entering the Park (using the facilities or not) are required to pay a visitors fee of $8 per person; only one family are permitted to visit per booking and must see the Office before entering the Park to register and receive wristbands. OFFICE HOURS: open every day (except Christmas Day) from 8am to 5/6pm (seasonal). ALLOCATION OF ACCOMMODATION/SITES: is based on the size (& in some cases the description) provided when making your booking. We understand that caravans, tents & camper trailers come in all shapes & sizes so if you have any concerns please contact us prior to your arrival. We CANNOT GUARANTEE a particular cabin or site number, but do try to accommodate your requests. BUNK BEDS: Please be advised: Work Law Health & Safety state that operators must comply with the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4220:2003. "Children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to use the top bunk, children must not play on top bunk:. Please take this into consideration when making your booking. CAR PARKING: only one parking space is provided per accommodation/site. Any extra cars/boats/trailers etc will need to park at the front entrance away from your accom/site. CHRISTMAS DAY: is the only day of the year the Office is closed & staff have the day off. We always have someone on site for emergencies only. This means ALL recreational facilities will be closed. The only facility open will be the outdoor pool. ANIMALS: are not permitted in the Park. Arrangements for a person who is sight and/or hearing impaired must be made in advance. CANCELLATION POLICY: - a deposit of one nights stay per accom/site must be received to confirm the booking/s. - balance of your stay is required on check in and can be paid by cash, credit card (visa, mastercard) or eftpos. Cheques are not accepted on arrival for final payment. - A $25 cancellation fee per accom/site is charged on all cancelled bookings. - A full refund (less fee) will be given on any bookings cancelled with at least 28 days notice before arrival. Cancellations made with less than 28 days notice will be refunded if the site/accommodation is re-booked. If it is only re-booked part of the time, a refund will be made for the amount of time re-booked. - All cancellations must be advised in writing - BIG4 Soldiers Point Holiday Park has no control over weather or other misfortunes. All refunds are at the discretion of management. PRICING: BIG4 Soldiers Point Holiday Park use a dynamic pricing structure so accom/site charges can change daily. If you find a rate cheaper than previously booked we unfortunately can not amend these changes.
