BIG4 Club Membership Conditions 

1. Applicability

(a) BIG4 Membership benefits are available to you if you are a current member.

(b) The BIG4 Member benefits set out below apply for tourist use only. Permanent, annual or long term park residents are excluded.

(c) You acknowledge that each BIG4 Holiday Park is operated pursuant to a franchise right granted by BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd (BIG4) to individual franchisees (BIG4 Holiday Parks) and that each BIG4 Member Benefits Partner is an independent contractor who aside from its relationship with the franchisee has no other relationship with BIG4.

(d) BIG4 Membership is personal to you and is not transferable, assignable or refundable. Further, BIG4 Membership cannot be converted into cash.

2. Savings

(a) BIG4 offers its Members a BIG4 Membership Saving on accommodation at BIG4 Holiday Parks subject to certain conditions.

(b) This Membership Saving is currently a 10% discount to a maximum of $40 per stay. One BIG4 Membership provides the BIG4 Membership Saving for one site or one cabin per BIG4 Holiday Park per stay.

(c) The BIG4 Membership Saving may be claimed at any BIG4 Holiday Park.

(d) To obtain the BIG4 Membership Saving, bookings must be made directly with the BIG4 Holiday Park at which accommodation is sought or by booking via BIG4’s website

(e) In order to claim the BIG4 Membership Saving you must quote a valid BIG4 Membership number at the time of check in.

(f) The BIG4 Membership Saving is not available in conjunction with other savings, offers and/or reward program vouchers.

(g) Bookings made through agents or other intermediaries such as third party booking sites are not eligible for the BIG4 Membership Saving.

(h) In addition to the BIG4 Membership Saving, benefits are also available from BIG4 Membership Benefit Partners. To claim benefits from BIG4 Member Benefit Partners you must present your valid BIG4 Membership Card to the BIG4 Member Benefit Partner. In the event that the transaction is being made by phone or via the internet, you must give details of your valid BIG4 Membership to the relevant BIG4 Member Benefit Partner at the time of the relevant transaction. If you do not show or give details of your membership to the relevant BIG4 Member Benefit Partner at the time of purchase (unless specified otherwise) you may not claim the benefit.

(i) BIG4 Membership does not guarantee accommodation.

3. Currency of Membership

(a) The BIG4 Membership shall remain current and valid from the date of purchase of the BIG4 Membership until the expiry date (as stated on the BIG4 Membership card) and may be used during the period the BIG4 Membership is current.

(b) Should you lose, misplace or for any reason require a replacement BIG4 Membership card, these are available from any BIG4 Holiday Park or from BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd.

4. No credit provided

(a) For the avoidance of doubt, the BIG4 Membership card is not a credit card, EFTPOS card or any other card giving rise to the access of cash.

5. Change of benefits

(a) Subject to clause 5(b), BIG4 may make any changes to the BIG4 Membership Program, including changing these terms and conditions, the BIG4 Membership Saving or the participating BIG4 Member Benefit Partners.

(b) BIG4 will use best efforts to advise members of material changes to these terms and conditions and, where such changes will limit benefits available to members:
(i) where the benefit is provided by BIG4 Holiday Parks, to give members at least 6 months' notice;
(ii) where the benefit is provided by a third party, where possible give members at least 30 days' notice.

(c) Without limiting this clause 5 in any way, members will be taken to have received the notice referred to in clause 5(b) if BIG4 notifies members of the change by providing notice at the address or e-mail address provided to BIG4 by the member.

6. Termination or suspension of program

(a) BIG4 gives no warranty as to the continuing availability of the BIG4 Membership Program. BIG4 may terminate or suspend the BIG4 Membership Program at any time. BIG4 will give at least 6 months notice to members of such termination or suspension, except if BIG4 ceases to operate a holiday park franchise in which case the BIG4 Membership Program will cease immediately.

7. Liability

(a) BIG4 acknowledges that certain laws imply terms, conditions or warranties into contracts for the supply of goods or services that cannot be excluded. For example, for consumers, services come with consumer guarantees under consumer protection legislation that they will be provided with due care and skill and be reasonably fit for their purpose. Clauses 7(b) and 7(c) is not intended to exclude or restrict the application of such laws.

(b) Subject to clause 7(a), BIG4 and any of their officers, employees or agents are not liable for any loss or claim of any kind (including, without limitation, consequential or economic loss or loss of profits), arising under or in connection with the BIG4 Membership Program, including, without limitation, any changes to the BIG4 Membership Program, save to the extent that such loss or claim arises from the negligence or wilful misconduct of BIG4 or any of their officers, employees or agents.

(c) The BIG4 Membership Saving and the benefits available from the BIG4 Membership Benefit Partners are supplied by independent suppliers. Certain statutory warranties under consumer protection laws may apply to these benefits. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude or restrict the application of such consumer laws but BIG4 makes no guarantee, warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the membership benefits including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or otherwise outside of the application of those laws.
